Storme brings over 10 years of experience in the funeral industry, where she worked as a Funeral Arranger, Director, and Manager. These roles shaped her calm, compassionate nature and her ability to support others during emotionally demanding situations. With a lifelong love of animals, transitioning into pet care felt like a natural next step.
Storme takes a gentle, thoughtful approach to every walk, paying close attention to each dog’s individual needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and engaged. She holds a professional Dog Walking Certification with the IMDT, is trained in pet first aid, and is continually expanding her skills through Dog Training College. With Storme, dogs receive more than exercise — they experience consistency, enrichment, and genuine care from someone who truly values their wellbeing.

Abbey has over 15 years of hands-on experience working with animals across a wide range of professional settings, including London Zoo, SEA LIFE London Aquarium and Heathrow Animal Reception Centre, as well as experience working on large farms with a variety of livestock species.
She also spent over nine years teaching the practical elements of Animal Management at a land-based college, working closely with students and a diverse range of animals in hands-on learning and training environments. During this time, Abbey managed the college’s livestock section for over five years, overseeing the day-to-day care, welfare and management of a variety of livestock species.
Throughout her career, Abbey has trained and worked with a wide variety of animal species, giving her extensive practical experience in animal behaviour, handling, training and welfare. This broad background has helped shape the calm, thoughtful and welfare-led approach she brings to dog training today.
Abbey holds certifications with the Dog Training College, has completed the MVP programme with STSK9, and has successfully completed her Level 3 Learning, Motivation and Reinforcement (LMR) qualification with the IMDT and OCN London.
She is currently working towards her Level 4 Training and Behaviour qualification with the IMDT, further developing her knowledge of canine behaviour, behavioural assessment, training and working effectively with dogs and their owners.
Alongside her formal qualifications, Abbey is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed a wide range of CPD in dog training and behaviour, including the IMDT two-day theory course and four-day Practical Instructor course, alongside numerous additional seminars, workshops and training courses.
Continuing professional development remains an important part of Abbey’s work, allowing her knowledge and training approach to continue evolving alongside current understanding within the industry.
